What’s On

SaxoFest is free entry between 12:30-5pm with live music between 1-4:30pm. The car park will be open from 12 noon.

From 5pm, there will be live music inside Benson Village Hall, which is ticketed. Tickets should be purchased in advance. The event finishes at 10pm. Guests must vacate by 10:30pm.

A selection of food vendors will be serving outside, 12:30-8:30pm. A bar will be serving refreshments and snacks inside throughout the event.

Please note, we operate a cashless service at SaxoFest.

Whittlesey Sax Choir will be displaying the full saxophone family! From the towering Contrabass saxophone through to the tiny Soprillo saxophone, this is a rare opportunity to see the whole family side by side and up close.

Our favourite wind-specialist music shop, Dawkes Music, will be demoing and selling a range of the latest saxophone accessories, such as; mouthpieces, ligatures, reeds, cleaning supplies, etc.

Sun Hellerud of Technically Music will be offering free on-the-spot inspections, with minor repairs and adjustments available at an additional cost. Watch one of the country’s top woodwind repairers in action!

Lynden Blades will be sharing resources from his popular online saxophone school, SaxMadeSimple.com, as well as their Goldington Saxophone range.

If you’ve never tried playing a saxophone before, now you can!

Many Sax Bandits members are enthusiastic bakers and will be offering their talents by selling a range of cakes, cookies, and sweet treats!

The Music Club will be giving the chance to win a range of prizes, many of which have been gifted by local businesses.

YPWD will be offering face-painting and glitter tattoos to get you in the festival spirit!

Witney Sports Massage will be offering free assessments to help advise saxophone players on their posture. Several light massage options will be available. Book when you arrive as time slots will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
